The Marble Hall Murders is the third Anthony Horowitz mystery to follow the editor Susan Ryeland, played by Lesley Manville, with Tim McMullan as the fictional detective Atticus Pünd. It was made by Eleventh Hour Films for the BBC and PBS Masterpiece, and was released in 2026.
The story moves between present-day England and Corfu in 1955, where Pünd investigates a suspicious death at Villa Belmar. Filming took place in Dublin, London and around Corfu, with San Stefano Estate as Villa Belmar.
It is the house’s second screen role on Corfu: San Stefano also appeared in The Durrells as the Ferrari family home, in series three, episode five.
